TADRA TENACITY AWARD

Commencing in 2023, the new perpetual TADRA Tenacity award is designed to reward a sustained effort by riders over the year, as well as encourage progression up the ride levels, and care of the horse at all levels.

To be eligible for the TADRA Tenacity award, riders must enter in at least two events during the calendar year, one of which must be the TADRA Championship event (any ride level at that event is eligible, not just the flagship Championship ride).

The award will be presented at the post-AGM presentations early in the following year.

A special formula has been developed specifically for this award which incorporates the level of ride completed, the number of rides attended, and the veterinary score obtained by the horse at each ride. Points are calculated from all TADRA distance rides completed by a rider between January and December in a single year, irrespective of whether they ride the same or different horses.
